Yeah... how 'bout that month-long unannounced Hiatus? Well... The convention here is over and so is a lot of stress ^^; Yay. And I'm still trying to get back into a rhythm for things. I *gasp* actually had to color this page by myself... So um... sorry if it sucks. ^^; Should be a bit of nostalgia since I used to color it... I forgot how much WORK it is to do that... >.< Holy crap. Took me forever and it still looks rushed lol...

Oh and there's a new contest up on the main page. As well as a bunch of other updates. *gasp* so maybe um... like, check 'em out? If you want.

So... what's been up the last month? I realize not everyone is interested in my personal life, but if you feel the need to read on, here goes:

First of all was Anime Banzai... that took up almost ALL of my free time... The college we held it in was SO difficult to work with. They came up with new things we had to do, new hoops to jump through and it was just crazy >.< Blah. The worst was when we had been assured our club's debit card would work to check our guests into the hotel and then... it didn't. That kinda sucked. Made us look like doofuses.(is that the right plural for 'doofus'?) But it all got taken care of and we got a really good turnout. Almost 3 times what we got our first year. And everyone was really excited and seemed to have fun. I still had people yell and throw hissy fits at me, but a temper tantrum or two was nothing compared to everything else lol... so all in all, we did pretty good and I hope next year will be good too. ^_^ The only downside is dealing with the aftermath, which is a whole new bundle of paperwork... ick.

What else... hm. There was Nan Desu Kan. I was so annoyed with how they did the costume contest registration... it kinda sucked. And don't get me started on how they judge either. My costume wasn't fab so i wasn't expecting a huge prize or anything like that, but there were a lot of costumes way better than mine that didn't get anything at all. All the stuff went to like... 3 or 4 groups. Which, they did have really great costumes, but... it just didn't seem fair, yeah? They just kept getting award after award *_* I think the judges need to confer on who is giving what to whom, so there is less overlap or something... Aaaand, my AMV didn't make it into the contest this year, but you can still check it out over in the AMV section on the main page. :) It's a final fantasy/kingdom hearts thing. I think it turned out pretty well.

Ah... and one of my favorite co-workers quit ;-; made me sad. And now I'm taking over all her responsibilities, so it's been a little crazy at the office lately *_* I have to open every day now, so you would think that meant no more late nights and I'd be SMART enough to go to bed at a decent hour, but I'm such a dork that I'll still stay up late and try to function in the morning on 4 and 5 hours of sleep. It's gonna catch up with me and bite me in the butt I just KNOW IT.

Oh... and I got Final Fantasy XII, is pretty good so far. I know people complain about the battle system with every new game, but I thought it was pretty good. Still working my way through it.

Ha... and I wonder if anyone is still reading the comic ^^; I have been on hiatus so long I think i lost a lot of readers. Sorry guys. I really have been trying, but as you can see, there's been a lot of stuff that has been keeping me from getting all the things done that I would like to. I just ask, as always, that you have some patience with me and I'll do my best to keep bringing pages to you in a timely manner. THanks!
