sorry about the inconvenience of last week! I'm feeling much better now!! Yeesh, thank goodness I will never have to draw that library in the background ever again! It took soooo long! oh yeah! and the little crest on the magic booky there in the last frame is kinda wonky lookin'. I inked that little star thing and then i had to white out it out, and it got all blotchy, so i just smeared it all together, but it looks kinda neat I thought... anyway, long week, etc, etc, Just played a buncha ps2 games actually 'cause i've been feelin' cruddy from the teeth (plus as everyone and their cousin knows, I'm lazy :p) So.. my video game review of the week here (getting more and more like Megatokyo in the rants, aren't i....) I played Maximo, It was kinda hard to get the hang of at first, but it was really pretty fun, killing zombies and all that, all it needs is a crossbow.... plus he looks pretty cute runnin' around in those little heart boxers! Also, ICO, another pretty dang cool game, though it takes a lotta strategy to get through the rooms, I didn't make it very far lol... and the kid with horns is awesome! Next is awesome game called Ephemeral Fantasia, that revolves around the main character, a musician named Mouse. He carries a talking guitar (few know that it really can talk...) that doubles as a sword... (dont' ask...) It's by the makers of DDR (Dance Dance Revolution baby!!! oh yeah!) so, as you may have guessed there's plenty of music and games. You actually have to play the guitar (hold the correct strings/buttons with one hand and strum with the other) and do fairly well to get passed certain points. It's way fun and Mouse is really cute! Lastly, an extremely freaky game, Fatal Frame. It's actually based on a true story, as well as Japanese folklore. People have mysteriously been disappearing in a strange old haunted house, and eventually, the brother of the main character goes missing, leaving behind an old camera. The main character, a girl named Miku, goes in search of him and ends up finding out more than she would have liked about this haunted house. Great games, all of 'em! anyway, enjoy this week's pic and happy reading! -Mika |
