Chapter Two: Sailor Wha?
*Juuhachigou - #18
*Juunanagou - #17
*senshi - soldier

The same dream, but clearer this time. Trunks was alone in the mists, calling the girl's name, searching for her. The mists weren't so thick anymore. He could see her outline in the distance. He started flying at full speed towards her. He had to reach her in time, but he felt so tired. He was nearly there when he saw them take her. This time it was two figures. Both dark, but he knew them, even by their silhouettes. It was the Jinzoungen! The girl screamed his name as they jetted off. He felt his heart ripping as stood there, unable to summon the strength to go any further. He still hadn't been close enough to catch more than a glimpse of her. She wore a white flowing gown and had long light brown hair...

BAM!! Trunks woke to a foot in his face. "What the...?"

Shannon was sleepy a moment ago, but now she was wide awake. She had been stepping out of her bed as she always did, when she felt her foot step on something. She bolted up, shocked that something or someone might be in her room. Then, as she looked around, she realized... this was NOT her room.

"Who are you?!" they yelled in unison.

Shannon scooted away from the young man. "Who am I?!" asked Trunks, "You're the one who came here! You were asleep in our car and I brought you here so you wouldn't freeze out there! If anyone should be asking who's who, it should be me!"

"What?" the girl was shocked, "What are you talking about? I don't remember coming here... I don't even know where ‘here' is!"

"Great, she's lost her mind... this is all I need..." Trunks sighed, "Well, you can call me Trunks... you are?"

*Trunks? What a strange name!* "Uh, I'm Shannon, but most people just call me Chibi."

"Chibi?" he repeated. *What kind of name is Chibi?*

"Yeah, um one question though... just where are we?"

"Well we're about ten or twenty miles from Tokyo." Trunks replied.

"Tokyo? You mean Crystal Tokyo, right?" she asked.

"Crystal Tokyo? ...no, I've never heard it called that. Are you feeling alright? There's really not even much left of Tokyo now. The Jinzoungen destroyed most of it." Trunks whispered the last sentence.

"No Crystal Tokyo..." Shannon mumbled, shocked. "How can that be?..."

"Well, enough talk for now, why don't we get some breakfast?" Trunks smiled. "I'm sure my mother would love to meet you."

Chibi shook her head. *That dream couldn't have been real could it? How else would I be here? Does that mean I've left everyone behind?...*

"Chibi?"

She shook her head free of those thoughts for now. "Huh?"

"Breakfast. Aren't you coming?" Trunks said as he walked out the bedroom door.

"Oh, right! Sorry!" she said, jumping out of bed.

"So, where did you say you were from?" Bulma asked while piling a stack of pancakes at least a couple feet high on the table. Chibi wondered how they would ever eat all of the food between just the three of them. Trunks reached for the plate, but Bulma smacked his hand. "Guests first Trunks."

He withdrew his hand as she answered, "I didn't say, but I'm from... um, Tokyo. I'm sorry, this might seem really strange, but I don't really remember how I got here." she rubbed the back of her head, embarrassed.

"Well, don't worry about it." Bulma smiled while dishing Chibi up with a large stack of pancakes. "Trunks and I hardly ever get company anymore. Feel free to stay as long as you like."

"Thanks, I really appreciate it." Chibi replied, wondering if they really expected her to eat ALL the food on her plate. She looked over to see Trunks, wolfing his down like he hadn't eaten in weeks. She ate a bit slower, managing miraculously to eat almost half of what she was given.

Bulma finished cooking and turned on the radio. A steady beat from an old song died out. Immediately after, a man's voice came on the air. "Warning, the twins, Juuhachigou and Juunanagou have just entered Tokyo. If you are in the vicinity, we urge you to leave as soon as possible. Repeat, the Jinzoungen have arrived in Tokyo, for your own safety, leave as soon as possible."

"Jinzoungen?" Chibi asked, looking over at Trunks and Bulma. Their faces were suddenly so serious and almost angry. Chibi got a puzzled look on hr face. "What wrong? Who are these Jinzoungen?"

"I have to go." Trunks said without expression. He took off out the door.

"Wait! Where are you going?!" Chibi shouted after him.

"Get back here! Both of you! Trunks! Stop! You'll be killed!!" Bulma yelled a few seconds too late. Both were out the door.

Trunks took off through the air, not even taking a backward glance, while Chibi stood running after him, shocked to see someone just jump off the ground and take flight. She ran behind the capsule house where she hoped no one would see her transform.

"Neo Crystal Power, Make up!" she cried, pulling her heart shaped brooch from her pocket. Before she could ask herself how she knew it was in her pocket, she was transformed into Sailor Chibi Kawaii. She took to the skies as well, though not as quickly as Trunks had. She noticed a small change in her costume now that she had received her crystal. Her arm bands were now that of a Super Sailor and she had small white barrettes in her hair as well as a Sailor V style mask in her color theme of violet. She realized she could see what was happening in Tokyo through them.

It was the twins all right. They were wreaking their usual havoc through the city, not at all hard to find. Juuhachigou picked up a car, throwing it through several buildings, while Juunanagou was firing random energy blasts, destroying what little there was left of the city. Trunks landed a few feet in front of them.

"Well, if it isn't the little warrior," Junanagou sneered. "What do you want, Brat?"

Juuhachigou laughed, "You think you can stop us? You KNOW you're too weak to even try."

Instead of answering, Trunks charged up to Super Saiyan. His golden hair stood on end and his now green eyes glowed with anger.

Is it a fight you want, Brat?" Junanagou smirked. "Very well, I could use a bit of entertainment."

"Stop right there!" a voice came from down the empty street. Chibi Kawaii appeared, smiling triumphantly. "For destroying Tokyo and harming innocents, I'll not forgive you!"

"Just who do you think you are?" Juuhachigou laughed.

"Agent of Love and Justice, I am pretty suited sailor soldier, Sailor Chibi Kawaii! In the name of the Moon, I'll punish you!" Chibi Kawaii shouted as she struck a dramatic pose.

The twins looked at each other for a moment before bursting out laughing. "You really think that you, a little girl in a sailor uniform can beat us where so many others have failed?" Juuhachigou snickered.

Trunks was too dumbfounded to manage a laugh. *Who does this girl think she is? Does she have any idea of what she was getting herself into? Wait a minute... She looks a lot like... no! It couldn't be... The girl in my dream?!*

Chibi Kawaii stood boldly, ignoring their laughter. She was charging her sword with all her energy. "Royal Lunar Eclipse!" she shouted, spinning her sword ornately and striking yet another pose. A bolt of white energy blasted from her sword, knocking #18 right into #17, both of them falling to the ground, shocked.

Juunanagou brushed himself off, "That's it. Your little show was cute at first, but now, it's our turn." he yelled, running toward her.

Chibi Kawaii dodged just in time, swinging her sword around to face him. This time she ran at him, bringing her enchanted sword down right into ... his hand?

She looked up at him in shock as he caught the blade in his right hand. He yanked it from her grasp, kicking her away. She flew across the pavement, skinning her elbow and knee.

"Is that all?" he laughed. "I thought you might be a bit more of a challenge than that!"

She picked herself up slowly. "I'm not beaten yet!" She yelled, running towards him, swinging her fist toward his face.

Juuhachigou appeared right in front of her before she was even halfway to #17. They were fast... inhumanly fast. "Going somewhere?"

Juuhachigou elbowed her in the stomach, sending her flying into one of the nearby buildings.

"Enough interruptions, let's finish what we started. Are you ready brat?" Junanagou said as he walked toward Trunks, dropping the sword he'd taken from the fallen sailor senshi.

"Yes, are you ready to end up like your little friend over there?" Juuhachigou gestured to a pile of rubble that had been a building only moments ago.

"I don't know who that girl was, but you'll pay for the innocents you've killed." Trunks stated. He was still puzzling over the girl who had jumped in, minutes ago to ‘punish' the twins.

Junanagou rushed Trunks at full speed, knocking him flat. Juuhachigou picked him up, pulling both of him arms backward to their breaking point, then shoving her knee into his back. "How ‘bout a little punching practice, #17?"

#17 smiled cruelly, cracking his knuckles. He punched Trunks hard in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him. He couldn't dodge because of the tight hold #18 had on him and felt his knees collapse. He was immediately pulled back up by #18 as #17 laughed.

"Did you really think you had a chance?" Junanagou sneered as he brought his fist back again. It landed hard across Trunks face, blood beginning to come from a new cut in his lip.

Junanagou continued his brutal attack while Juuhachigou held him, making him take every blow. "Can't I have a turn now? We don't get very many punching bags these days..." Juuhachi smiled as she twisted Trunks' arm further. Trunks winced at the pain.

Juuhachigou smiled wickedly as she picked him up and threw him through the nearest building. He hit with a smack and slid down, his hair changing back to it's usual lavender as he was knocked unconscious.

"So, should I finish him off?" Juuhachigou asked.

"Nah, we'll kill him next time. I want a little more entertainment before we kill off the only warrior on this planet even remotely near our power levels. Next time he'll be stronger, if he lives..." Juunanagou replied.

"Ugh..." Chibi Kawaii groaned as she pulled herself from the pile of rubble. She'd been out for a while. *What happened?* she wondered.

She walked through the empty streets, not seeing anyone. No Jinzoungen, no Trunks, no people... *Was that really Trunks? He was dressed a lot like him, but his hair and eyes were totally different!*

The streets were silent as she walked through them. *I hope he's okay...* she heard a soft rustling to her right. She could hear it easily through the silence. She walked over to find out who or what it was.

She looked to see Trunks lying near a building. He looked pretty bad. She ran over, worried that he might not still be alive.

"Trunks? Trunks are you alright?" she put her hand on his cheek. He opened his eyes slowly, then sighing, shut them again.

*This is NOT good* she thought to herself. *It's a good thing I have powers that can be used for more than just fighting.*

She placed a gloved hand on his forehead, using her healing powers to mend his wounds. It took a few minutes, but he finally came to.

"Are you okay?" she asked, once he'd sat up.

He looked up, not able to see her eyes through the glasses she wore. He had a puzzled look on his face. "Who are you?"

She smiled, "didn't you hear me before? I'm Sailor Chibi Kawaii."

"Do I know you? You look familiar..." he started.

She just smiled again before running off, leaving Trunks alone with his thoughts.

Trunks shook his head. He was still sore from the fight. He shook it off and stood up, starting back for his home. When he arrived, his Mom was down in her makeshift lab.

"Hey Mom."

"Trunks! Are you alright?" Bulma ran over to her son. "You've got to be more careful! I don't want you running off to fight those androids anymore!"

Trunks sighed, "Right Mom..." he rolled his eyes, remember just how many times she'd said that.

"Oh, Trunks, is Chibi okay? I haven't seen her since this morning. Did she go with you?" Bulma asked.

"Hi guys!" Chibi walked down the stairs to the lab.

"There you are! Where have you been all day?" Bulma asked sternly.

"I, uh, well..." Chibi started.

"What happened to your elbow?" Bulma looked worried.

"Oh, uh, I was going to follow Trunks, but I didn't know he could fly like that! I saw him jet off, but there was no way I could catch up, so I decided to stay and explore a bit. I, um, cut my elbow when I was climbing some rocks."

"Really?..." Bulma asked suspiciously.

Trunks wasn't paying much attention. He was staring off into space, wondering about the girl he'd seen today. She looked so familiar, but he just couldn't place it. He felt the same ki energy around Chibi, but the other girl was different, stronger. *Besides, Chibi couldn't possibly be a warrior like the other girl.*

"Trunks?" Bulma waved her hand in front of his face.

"Huh? Oh, Mom. The weirdest thing happened today. I found the twins and was about to start fighting them when this girl appeared out of nowhere. She said something about being a ‘sailor soldier' and punishing the twins ‘in the name of the Moon.'" he looked to see Chibi's reaction. She listened, but seemed uninterested. *It couldn't possibly be her! She has no reason to keep her identity a secret from us! Besides, she's hardly even listening to what I'm talking about!* he thought.

"Hmm, that is strange. Do you know who she was?" Bulma asked.

"No, I don't know many girls Mom. It was weird, though, she knew my name, even though I didn't know her!" he seemed dazed.

"Well, why don't you wash up for dinner, okay?" Bulma smiled.

"Sure," Trunks replied, flying up the stairs.

When he was gone Bulma turned to Chibi. "It was you wasn't it? You were that girl Trunks was talking about."

Chibi was surprised, "Huh? I don't know what you mean," she pretended.

"Sure you don't." Bulma smiled. "I'm sure you got that scrape on your elbow by falling on some rocks. You may be able to fool my oblivious son, but you're not fooling me."

"Was it that obvious?" Chibi sighed.

Bulma grinned, "To me, yes, to Trunks, probably not. I don't think he has any clue that it's you. So, do you mind telling me where you're really from? I know it's not anywhere near here."

"Well, in a way it its. I didn't lie when I said I was from Tokyo. I am from a different one. It's called Crystal Tokyo. Ruled by King Endymion and Queen Serenity. I really don't know how I got here, but I know it's a lot different from the Earth I was on yesterday. I can fly like your son because I'm a Sailor Senshi. On my Earth, the sailor senshi are those who protect the planet from danger. There is a sailor senshi for every planet, not just in our solar system, but the whole universe! My mother was Sailor Moon after the moon of Earth. She was the most powerful sailor senshi in our solar system. She had two daughters, Sailor Chibi Moon and myself, Sailor Chibi Kawaii, after she married the prince of Earth. I know it may be hard to believe, but it's the truth! The senshi look like normal people until they say the words that change them into sailor soldiers. Each soldier has a special gem or brooch that has the power to change them." Chibi said as she pulled her heart shaped brooch from her pocket. "This is mine."

Bulma was nearly speechless, "Well, that explains a few things, I suppose... but not WHY you're here." She took the brooch from Chibi. "Do you mind if I take a look at this?"

"I suppose not, but can I ask a favor? Please don't tell anyone about this. My identity is supposed to be a secret. I know it sounds dumb, but it will be easier for me if no one knows I'm Sailor Chibi Kawaii." Shannon replied.

"Sure, I can keep a secret." Bulma gave her the brooch back. "Well, shall we go up to dinner? Trunks is always starving after a fight."

"Sounds great!" Chibi raced up the stairs. "Just let me change real quick!"

Chibi ran up to Trunks' room, luckily he wasn't there. She pulled the Luna Pen she'd found in her pocket earlier out. Holding it up, she said quietly, "Luna Pen, you know what to do."

The pen sparkled quickly and in a flash of light she was wearing a light green dress that perfectly matched her eyes. It wasn't a fancy dress, it had spaghetti straps and hugged her figure till it reached her hips where it became loose and flowing. It reached almost to her knees. "Ugh, a dress?! I'll have to remember to give better instructions next time." She said to herself as she opened the door. To her surprise, Trunks was opening it on the other side at the same time. He'd just come back from washing up and taking a shower, since he didn't get the chance this morning.

Their eyes met. She had to admit, he was cute. She hadn't really noticed before, she'd been so busy, but it was hard not to notice when he was standing there in just a towel! She blushed. "Uh, excuse me." she said, slipping past as quickly as she could.

She sat down at the table and waited while Bulma finished cooking. Bulma brought the food to the table and seated herself. Trunks walked in, dressed the same as he had been this morning.

He sat down next to Chibi, not noticing she started to blush the moment he walked in. He glanced over at her. She look beautiful in that green dress. He hadn't noticed before how pretty she was.

Bulma, not saying anything, just observing, smiled.
