Age: I don't know. He is a vampire, he is probably rather old, but he sure doesn't look it.

Likes: Teaching Grammar, sleeping in his coffin, ..and of course blood. Oh and he protects his students.

Hates: Light, he calls himself "Hater of Light"

Since there is not a whole lot of information on Papaya (He only had two shows dedicated to just him!) I've decided to interview his co-workers.
Papaya teaches grammar to students at Micro-Grand Academy. The students there did know his "secret" long before he thought to "confess" that he is a vampire. On Sunny days you can find him in the class room teaching under an umbrella, or weakly asking the students to shut the blinds. Papaya can be counted on to protect the kids at Micro-Grand Academy. There is room for only one vampire there.

This month I decided to find a lesser known bishounen, and I thought about Papaya! But the problem is I don't know much about him. He only has like two episodes dedicated to just him! So, I'm going to discuss my Papaya evolution.

I'm watching Trouble Chocolate at club with Tychou, and other club members, and when you first see him he is sleeping in a coffin, so that is a dead giveaway that he is a vampire. Anyway, I'm thinking 'He is cute.' But I never really cared for his teaching outfit. Then the episode comes, the first one dedicated to him. And you get to see him kick-@$$. I then was like, 'WOAH!! He's hot!!" And he has a much better outfit on (see the picture above). Yep I like his "I'm a vampire and I'm going to kick your butt" outfit.

Yep, this is November's Bishounen. Enjoy the lesser known bishies because they are just as hot as the well known bishies - sometimes they can be hotter. *gasp*

Comments this month may be a little short. lol The only fems that have seen this show are Tychou, Pan~pan, and I. I loaned a dvd to No-chan and one to Kime and told them which episode to watch, so that way they can at least have an idea about Papaya. And it gives them something to comment on.

Pan~pan says: Oooooh Papaya. You know, at first I wasn't REALLY impressed with him. But after I started getting into the series, he quickly became my favorite bish. (Truffle and Cacao are both tied for a close second...) I don't really know WHY it is i like him. perhaps his deadpan demeanor, vampire-ness, or just his cool butt-kicking costume. Poor guy always sounds like he needs a nap. Good choice Nie-chan, way to get the less-well-known bishies their moment in the spotlight!

Kime says: Woohoo! I definitely don't mind adding Prof. Papaya to our lovely fruit salad of bishounen here at Fem~Gri~La! He is definitely yummy! I watched one of the episodes of Trouble Chocolate that is dedicated to him. He is very very hot and bishounen! Another bonus is that he's smart. Oh yeah, brains and beauty, definitely a great combo. I wouldn't mind letting him take a bite out of me!! *wink wink nudge nudge*

Tychou says: Yay! Trouble Chocolate. If you haven't seen this series yet, then what are you waiting for? It is one of THE funniest animes I have ever seen. But be sure to watch it in English kids, it's actually kind of boring in Japanese. Wierd, huh? I really like the style of Trouble Chocolate and Prof. Papaya is a serious hottie. Come on ladies, hot vampire is serious fangirl fodder. I know you girls like that stuff. Maybe he'll do private lessons after school. Hee hee ^.^

No~chan says: (Better late than never!) I haven't seen this entire series yet.. in fact, I've ONLY seen the episode Nie-chan prescribed for me to watch with Prof. Papaya in it and the one after that! But Prof. Papaya was very cool in that episode. Not to mention that yeah, he's hot! He definitely looked like he needed a nap through most of the episode, but when he came out with his vampirey self I was very impressed! Good pick Nie-chan! Rooting for the lesser-known bishies is cool!
