Howl is from the book Howl's Moving Castle, which was made into an Anime movie by the same name. The stories are.. similar.. but not the same. Yet both still good in their own right. At any rate, Howl is a wizard who lives in a moving castle (Obviously.. hence the title) who is feared and longed after by young ladies in the villages the castle passes. There are many rumors about him.. that he eats girls hearts.. that he likes the pretty ladies.. that he's evil.. and one day Sophie, a girl from a village Hatter store, finds out more than she ever wanted to know about him when she has a spell put on her by a mean witch that makes her.. Old.. and ends up inside the castle as a last resort, but also hoping to find out how to break the spell.
There she finds out she has to help Calcifer, the fire demon living in, and moving, the castle, so she can get help getting rid of her spell. And there the book and the movie really stop being the same story. Except for the part where she cleans his bathroom and when he uses it next, his hair changes and he gets upset and slimes everything. *ahem* anyway, I'll stop my movie review..

Beat this Fabio!
Hey Sophie, check out my mad driving skillz!!!111
I'm ready for my close up!

No-chan: I picked Howl because I, along with the rest of the femmes (and P-chan!) totally enjoyed the movie! Not to mention drooled like crazy over Howl.. and his bum in the aforementioned slimey scene.. Howl is a fun character, with his temper tantrum, and being full of himself, and magic, and well.. he's just cool. It was fun being able to see/read the differences between the book and the movie, and seeing how much brattier Howl is in the book, yet still an awesome character. Sorry it took so long for me to get this up, guys! I don't know what to say. I'm disappointed in myself too! *sniffle* Hope you'll forgive me.

Pan Pan: Yay Howl! I liked both the book and the movie. Diana Wynne Jones is one of my favorite authors from my school days. :) (If you liked Howl, you should really try reading "Charmed Life." One of my favorites ^^) While the movie was very different from the book, I still love both. Very good. And I want a Howl of my very own! ^^ He's so cute! And Christian Bale did an awesome job with his voice! (so sexy ^.^)

Kime: Better late than never! Especially when it comes to Howl!! He is definitely worth the wait! Am I right, or am I right?! I loved this movie sooooooo much! I also loved the novel. Howl is just so cute and so funny. I can't wait till it comes out on DVD cause I will be all over it like white on rice! Such a great pick, No-chan! Howl is definitely one of the top bishounen chosen so far!!

Ty-Chou:Ah, my Howl. *reach, reach* He would be one of those higher maintenance boyfriends. But he might be almost worth it. He's sweet when he wants to be. And he has SUCH a smexy voice! Gee, where did he get it from? Anyway, gotta love Howl and all his antics. I suggest reading the book, too. Though I think I liked the plot better in the movie. But the book has some good stuff, too. And for you way retarded anime fans, don't try to Japanese up Sophie or Howl's names. It's based on a BRITISH novel you idiots! Their names are SUPPOSED to be in English!
