Cain has become rather well known for collecting and his great knowledge of poisons. When he was younger, his father tried to kill him by poisoning his tea, but Cain replaced the arsenic with Rose powder. If the tea gave off a scent of roses when offered to him, he'd know who was trying to poison him. ^-^ He retaliated by putting poison in his father's favorite pipe... Afterward his father was assumed dead, though they never found a body... heh heh heh... ...and Cain inherited the Hargreaves family fortune.

Pan Pan: Hm... wow... so why did I pick
Cain? Well, I started reading the manga a few months ago and I just really
enjoyed it. It's really dark and creepy and at the same time just pulls you
right in. I like Cain just because... dang, I wish I could be like him sometimes!
Not the whole... "people wanting to kill you" thing, but he just
has the really cool air about him. He can stay calm in almost any situation
and of course he loves the ladies. (Why do I always like the "ladies
man"?! ^.^) He's had to overcome a lot of difficult things and maybe
he's a little dark and brooding, but that's what we love about him! well..
me at least. and who wouldn't be a little off-balance after dealing with all
he's been through? And of course, one of Nie-chan's favorite things about
him, as well as mine, is his smooth-talking and all his little "innuendos"...
heh... *rambles off some innuendo comment*...

Pan Pan: hee..... ^-^ yes... Cain me like-ey. Oh, I
forgot, besides his personality, he's cute! I love his hair and he's always
dressed so very sexy--- I mean stylishly! yeah... that's what I meant... His
eyes are cool too. so pretty. Green tinted with gold... gah.... so gorgeous...
Cain: *flips his hair* yes yes... I know.

Nie-chan: Hey those were my lines from the halloween party! ^_^ lol Yay Cain! (Pan pan stole my next bishie...but that is ok ^_^) I'm so glad Misha gave us these scanslations, or I wouldn't know the goodness of Cain. I LOVE the manga. Oh yes, and I definately have Cain pictures and wallpapers on my comp ....why wouldn't I? In fact, right now my wallpaper and winamp skin match. And I now have a poster! woo-hoo! Unfortunately the manga is over now. The last chapter ran in Hana to Yume #21 and the last book will be out in January. If anyone is interested Sakura Crisis has scanslations up to God Child Vol #1 (which is technically book 6 and there will be 8 books in total for the God Child arc). I'm now rambling, so I'll go.
Kime: Yay Cain! He likes to poison people! What fun. He is pretty cute, though I do agree with Ty-chou about the Setsuna thing. Probably because the artist for Angel Sanctuary and Count Cain are the same. I find him very pretty though. He isn't as scary as Setsuna because he doesn't love his sister a little *too* much. You also have to love the inuendos he passes around. I think him and Gyojo would get along well . . . :)
Ty-chou: Why? WHY???? He looks TOO much like Setsuna from Angel Sanctuary! And we all know how I feel about Setsuna. Yet, I still asked Nie-Chan to burn me the manga. Whether or not I read it, however, is a different issue altogether. I personally think Count Cain is a hideous man, but we'll let Steph and Shannon have their moment to oogle him, then Cain can go off and play with his other Count friends. Like Count from Sesame Street and Count Chocula.

*L* I also have the scans, though I haven't read them, of this manga. Apparently,
according to Pan-Pan and Nie-chan and Misha, I REALLY need to. I do know,
that I think he's gorgeous. All the pics I've seen of him are spectacular,
and I love the clothing styles in this manga, too. It reminds me of clothes
I've seen on J-Rocker Mana.. in his magazine.. but maybe I shouldn't go there!
*ahem*
Good pick, Pannon! Cain is super suave, and really pretty, and just seems
to be an all-around cool guy.. the fact that he's gorgeous is the icing on
the cake.
