Name: Harima Kenji Anime: School Rumble Age: Hmm.. Approx. 17. He was held back a year in High School Blood Type: O Height: 5'11" (180cm) Weight: 174 lbs (79kg) Hobbies: Kicking A$$, Writing/Drawing Manga, Tenma-chan. Harima is the consumate High School Delinquent with a heart. He rides a motorcycle, skips school, beats up other delinquents, tortures the teachers, and was even held back a year. But he doesn't seem to mind.. Harima is one part of a big Love Triangle.. er.. Quadrangle.. or something. Basically, the girl he's in love with, is in love with someone else, but each of them has someone else that likes (or begins to like) them.. It gets kind of confusing, but it's OH so much torturous fun. He loves animals, and during one portion of the series even uses a huge, veritable ZOO of them to tell people's fortunes and such. He's constantly on a rollercoaster of emotion because of Tenma, his one true love who is more clueless than he is. He also has quite a bit of naked time in this show.. heh heh.

I picked Harima because he's a lot of fun, but also because when Kime first told us about School Rumble, she made note of the fact that "it has P-Chan in it!" She couldn't get over how much this anime character looks like my husband, and so she pointed it out to all of us including P-Chan. So when she finally had us captured at her house and all wanting to watch it, we couldn't help but be amazed at how right she is. I should have put a headband on him and taken a picture. That would have been awesome.. *ahem* ANYWAY! Look at these pictures.. Can you tell the difference?

Harima is cool. It really is cute how much he likes Tenma, and all the things he'll do to try and get her attention. They are both SO clueless that she's always thinking he likes someone else and not getting the hints that he likes HER, and HE keeps thinking that she likes him whenever she talks about the guy she likes.. it's quite hilarious. And yes, frustrating! I loved when he became the Animal Psychic/Fortune Teller, and the way he treats all his animals is quite awesome. He also does have one brother named Shuji that worms his way into Tenma and her sister's house for a little while.

Throughout the series, Harima does a lot of things that just prove how cool he really is. But you're just going to have to take my word for it until you see it when it comes out on DVD this year! Believe me, it's worth it.
